Traditional Serbian breakfast, fried eggs, coffee, .. then teaching on A Practical
Ecclessiology in a hotel room to get encouraged in God, because the most
dangerous part of our mission is coming now.
We will go to visit a JAMIA. We prayed to God to lead us, to protect our minds, our hearts, and to give us the right words in right time... we knew that now we will need it more than ever before .. for JAMIA is waiting for us.
The Islam we see hear in Europe is kinda different then Islam that we see mostly in Pakistan and also in the east and the Balkans, in Serbia. According to the CIA the most of Islamic terrorist cells is right here in Bosnia and Serbia.
JAMIA is an ancient local mosque. We found it easy and went inside. In the courtyard we meet a woman with a bloody basin. Then we walk down the stairs... this place looks like a place for animal sacrifices...It does not look like the main entrance that we were looking for.
We're back in the yard and we found the entrance,..we enter and take off our shoes. We went from light to a dark room, its darker here than I thought would be. In spiritual darkness, there's a lot of darkness,The only light here are the sunbeams that penetrate the mosaic windows.
Now I'm really glad that apart of God Lukas is here with me too. Some Muslims read the Quran, others just sit on earth and pray, meditate. Our toes sink into the soft carpet. We are in the heart of the Jamia.
We sat down beside a young man who speaks English, I start to talk to him ... he listens ... I listen ... he listens. I tell him that Abraham sacrificed a lamb instead of his son. And then they came together down from the mountain alive. I told him that even we can get down from the mountain alive ... if we sacrifice a lamb ... which is the Christ. He said he had never seen it this way and will think about it. He gives us his email and he wants to stay in touch.
That's wesome.
Everywhere we went God did miracles, people were so open .. this all because of your prayers .. thank you.
Daniel writes us a text message that he wants to meet again,.. God is really touching people here...and we are so thankful.
...to be continued.
