Dear praying friends,
here is an online report of our 100hour Belgrade
mission.
Departure in time, me & Lukas ate Burger King, we are on the
road by bus, my daughter who was left home with my wife just started to throw
up. little 6month old David is crying, my wife is not crying yet, she manages
bravely the attacks ...
First stop in Brno, we evangelize Romi, then we
head toward Vienna, we arrived on time. P. Dragan was to pick us up, but his
wheel exploded while driving on the highway, ... we will have to wait 6 hours
... What is it? Some atmospheric attacks?
We decided to go around Vienna
and to evangelize. We meet with a group of young people. It's a group of Serbs
and they are from Belgrade. Is it just a "coincidence". Then we meet with
p.Dragan in the night and we go to sleep about 01:15am...the next day we head
toward Belgrade.
On the way to Belgrade, trafficjam on the highway over
1hour, finally we arrive at our hotel but its overbooked... so we go to search
for another hotel.
We found our hotel which is much lower category for the
same price. Good that no girls are with us on this trip, because this could make
them cry. We will not, we are men. When I want to pay upfront for our hotel and
I find out that my credit card does not work. Is it some type of an
attacks?
That night we start with a dinner of veal in pita bread, then we
go to inspect the city like Nehemiah did and walked around Jerusalem. We then
pray from a mountain over the town of Belgrade. Within few minutes someone
approached us.., We start to witness, he listens to the gospel we share with him
and he prays with us for his salvation, inviting Christ into his life. He asks
for our phone number and he wants to meet with us the next day. We go then to
the hotel, ..its around 1:00 am.
We have to sleep in one bed, Lukas
takes my blanket so I sleep without it and its really cold. Leaking hotel
windows do not stop neither cold nor the outside noise. Everything which is
going on outside is clearly heard inside. I got a feeling like I am sleeping
outside on the bench and not in the hotel. While Luke sleeping
nicely.
It's morning .. Luke says that he could not sleep well as well.
But he wanted adventure on his trip and now he gets it. God is with us, and we
are doing really really good.
The very morning after cold and noisy
night we went to see the building of the former Serbian military leadership ...
It's at the center of the town and its still bearing marks after being hit by
the US American F16 bombs. We have photos of the building with a hole after the
explosion. Luka is impressed. It's his first mission trip and God has done
already so much during these few hours while in Serbia, mainly the supernatural
meeting with Danielo last night. Today we are to meet him so we have great
expectation and great joy in our hearts...joy, that this world can't take
away.
